What this tool does

The Horary tool implements KP's number-based horary method (Prashna). You think of any whole number from 1 to 249 at the moment your question is on your mind, enter the current date/time/place (auto-resolved) and your question, and the tool derives a chart from that number, checks the ruling cusp's sub-lord against the houses your question depends on, and returns a Promised / Denied / Promised-With-Delay verdict, a confidence level, and — where relevant — a likely timing window.

How it works

1. Pick a number from 1 to 249 the moment your question is genuinely on your mind.
2. Enter it along with the question, and the current date, time and place (place auto-resolves to coordinates and timezone).
3. The engine derives an ascendant and full chart from that number and moment, identifies which houses your question's category depends on, and reads the ruling sub-lord's significations against them.
4. You get a clear verdict plus reasoning, and — for questions with a timing component — a "when it's most likely" window, plus full KP detail (Seven Fundamental KP, Predictive Timing) if you want to inspect the reasoning.

What makes this different

The same deterministic engine and rule discipline used for birth charts applies here — a horary verdict is derived mechanically from the ruling sub-lord's significations, not an impressionistic read of the moment. Nothing about the judgment is invented or approximated.

Why the number matters

The number you pick isn't arbitrary window-dressing — it maps directly onto one of the 249 fine sub-divisions of the zodiac described in What is KP Astrology, the same division scheme that governs cuspal sub-lords generally. KP treats the number you spontaneously choose at the moment of asking as carrying the same astrological weight as a birth moment does for a natal chart — which is exactly what makes it possible to build a meaningful chart from nothing but a number, a question, and the present moment.
