What a KP chart calculator works out
Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) reads a chart through its house cusps. The calculator places the twelve cusps with Placidus houses on the KP ayanamsa, then finds the sign lord, star lord and sub lord of every cusp and every planet. A cusp’s sub lord is the factor KP relies on most (see how a cuspal sub-lord promises or denies an event).
From those lords it builds the house significators, the planets that can deliver each house’s matters, and your Vimshottari Dasha, the planetary periods that time when they arrive.

What is a sub lord in a KP chart?
